A Healing Process

This day definitely ranked in number one of oddest days ever....first she had almost been raped and then later on her almost rapist had confronted her asking if she could heal someone. She looked over at the blonde woman that he had escorted into the room, "I think I may have mentioned this but....this is one bizarre day." She muttered as she helped Artemis to a bed. "What happened?" She asked quietly as she looked up at him. The guy scowled, "Some dirt bag had raped her....and he was still assaulting her by the time Ivy and I got there." He stated flatly as he folded his arms. Chloe winced and then put her hand lightly over Artemis's and healed her, she allowed the warm golden glow to do its job before she sat down heavily in a chair.

Artemis looked away as Chloe healed her wounds. She hated that she had been convinced to heal herself. She sighed, before nodding her head, "Thank you.." She said as she just continued looking down..Artemis remembered her rapist's threats..how he would come after her at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and right before bed. Her eyes just stared at the floor.

Chloe bit her lip and saw how she was reacting, "Are you all right?" She asked quietly, then felt like slapping herself for asking such a stupid question, how could anyone be ok after that?

"I'm fine." She said, putting up her guard as she got up. She went to walk away, but stopped when Sabertooth stood in front of her. Artemis looked up at him, narrowing her eyes at him.

Victor folded his arms, "Look darling, you just got raped from some guy who was also assaulting you....you're far from fine. Now you get back to the bed or I'll make you." He said quietly.

Chloe got up and decided to do some damage control, "Look Artemis, the guy who raped you....I'm afraid that he'll try it again. We should at the very least have someone keeping an eye on you at least until the threat has been taken care of." She said.

Artemis looked at him, before looking away, knowing they saw through her act. She then at Chloe, before looking down..She knew he would keep trying...and it was just the matter of time for when he would find her. Her eyes looked at both of them, "Should I room with one of you then?" Artemis asked.

Chloe nodded, "That sounds like the best idea at the moment, I have a room mate." She looked up at Sabretooth before she smiled at Artemis. "Will you excuse us for just a moment?" She asked and then grabbed him by the arm and led him off to the side, "Ok now I know you don't have a room mate and quite frankly you're the only person who might be better qualified to protect her. Rape her though and I'll make sure you wind up getting taken out of here....do you understand me?" She asked quietly

Victor was taken aback by her attitude but nodded, "Oh and grab me like that again......and I'll finish what I started darling." He growled before he headed back towards his original spot.

Chloe inwardly wondered if she was doing the right thing but didn't really have a whole lot of time to decide otherwise, "So Artemis, uh Sabretooth here will be your protector until this is all cleared up." She said with a small smile.

Artemis nodded at both of them, before she smiled that said thank you. Though she was starting to feel the pain of her virginity getting taken so forcefully. She winced horribly, but was trying to stay up. Though she couldn't as she fell to her knees as she just stayed there, her body wincing. Even though she was strong, this was horrible pain.

Chloe winced when she saw a painful look cross Artemis's face and exchanged a worried look with Sabretooth before she hurried over and helped Artemis to the bed. "Artemis.....were you a virgin?" She asked quietly, realizing that this had to be the only explanation for her still being in pain. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Sabretooth look away giving them some form of privacy.

Artemis laid on the bed, looking at Chloe, before she nodded, "Yeah.." She said as she looked away. Hating that the both of them were seeing her like this.

Chloe felt sick and bit her lip, "I'll see if they have some pain reliever's or something." She said and looked around until she found what she was looking for in the form of shots. She bit her lip, she would have preferred pills but she would have to make do...much as she hated that, "Artemis I found some pain reliever's but they're shots are you ok with that?" She asked quietly, silently grateful that she had taken some nursing courses in college so she knew how to administer them correctly.

Artemis lifted her arm, "Fine with it." She said as she sat there as she readied herself for the shot. Even though she was getting injected by some kind of drug earlier, she wanted at least a drug that would help her.

Chloe made sure to make it as painless and quick as she possibly could, frowning when she saw the evidence of an earlier injection in her arm. "He drugged you?" She asked quietly, disliking the guy even more with each new thing she discovered.

Victor tensed even more, he had half a mind to go back to the room and finish the guy off.....in as painful a way as he could .

Artemis froze when she heard that Chloe found where her rapist had injected her. Her eyes stayed at the floor as she moved her arm away, giving her, her answer. She nodded as she forced herself to stay strong, "Some..kind of rape drug.."

Chloe looked down, "That asshole." She whispered angrily as her hands balled into fists, she had half a mind to get up and- she blinked in surprise when she saw she had gotten out of her seat and was being blocked by Sabretooth. "Get out of my way." She said angrily as she tried to push her way past him.

Victor sighed before he turned her back to the bed, "Listen darling, we both want to take care of the little bastard...however we have jobs to do. Last time I checked, you were the only healer on this ship." He pointed out as he folded his arms.

Chloe almost growled at him but then sighed as she realized he was right, "Damn your logic." She said darkly as she went to sit back down. It killed her to see Artemis like this.....if ever she met this Johnny guy she would give him a piece of her mind...and maybe a few punches.

Artemis laid there as she didn't look at either of them. She was trying to keep herself strong.

Chloe looked back down at Artemis and then up at Sabretooth, "I never thought you would be the one doing the rescuing." She said dryly as she studied him.

Victor sighed, but she had a point much as he hated it "I was with Ivy when we heard the screams from next door." He said eventually.

Chloe smirked, "You like her don't you?" She asked suspiciously and with some teasing on her part, and then almost winced she was teasing her almost rapist....what had the world come too?

Victor didn't bother answering the question he just glared at her, which only seemed to amuse her more much to his displeasure.

Artemis looked at both of them, noticing they didn't like each other. She did her examination with her eyes. And when she saw them look at her, she looked away from them, "When can I leave this area?"

Chloe looked over at Artemis, "Once the pain reliever kicks in...which should be in five more minutes." She said as she thought about it, she didn't want Artemis to prepare to leave only to collapse due to the pain of having been raped.

Artemis nodded as she laid back down as she waited ten minutes.

And when ten minutes passed, she talked, "How about now? I no longer feel pain.."

Chloe nodded, "Now is fine, but Sabretooth here will have to go with you just in case." She said quietly but firmly, she caught his slightly angry expression but he eventually gave a short nod.

Artemis got up and winced a little bit from laying down in the same position, but she quickly recovered and walked past both of them. And the way she walked wasn't a strong one. It was one that was saying she was scared, but trying to hide it.

Chloe bit her lip as she watched her leave and was relieved when Victor followed after her, she hadn't said it earlier but she was really worried about this guy who had raped Artemis. She bit her lip as she got up to head back to her own, she still had to figure out some sort of way of alerting her to intruders to her room.
